Candidate Responsibilities will include:
Management of time, hours, overtime of self and teams.
Legal appointments are in accordance with the Scope of Work
Ensure well-managed and disciplined construction implementation, utilising integrated learning opportunities, meetings, project schedules, ensuring that construction is in line with the latest drawing revision and commercial conditions of contract.
Construction schedules are monitored, up to date and aligned with contractual requirements
Interfacing with the Client, Client representatives and HO to ensure that relevant commercial driven communication are in place.
Review of logistics and equipment to ensure construction are “just in time”
Redline Drawings are appropriately marked up, controlled and latest ref are verified.
Construction executed in accordance with the commissioning sequence
The incumbent will be responsible for all daily management functions not mentioned here
Resource loading schedules and forecasting
Liaison with the Social Responsibility Team, ER/IR, HR, EE managers to ensure smooth contractor workforce relations and ensure requirements are met.
Development of response to strikes and labour disruptions.
Assist in identifying and registering risks related to the project, company and Client, as well as developing and implementing mitigating plans to remove the said risks.
Ensure that the team delivers the best quality product within the timeline for the life span of the project.
Ensure that all documentation are managed according to strict document control policies, practices, principles and procedures.
Candidate Minimum Requirements:
B Degree (Mining or Mechanical) / National Higher Diploma (Mining or Mechanical) or equivalent
5 years Construction of Underground Mining Infrastructure, Piping and Earthworks.
Registered with a recognised professional body
GCC or Mine Manager’s Ticket
PMP certification will be an added advantage.
