Full Function Bookkeeper

Full Time

Candidate Responsibilities will include:
Full bookkeeping function up to Balance Sheet
Maintaining financial records local and international on Excel spreadsheets
Ensuring the integrity of the debtors and creditors functions by ensuring audit trails are maintained for all recons and invoices
Assisting local Accountants with spreadsheets, reports and various documents required for various statutory returns and financial reporting as well as for audit purposes
Monthly Control account recons, including intercompany loan accounts
Petty Cash Control, Printing and Stationery, Cleaning materials, Office Refreshments and Hygiene Supplies Control, Monthly cash book processing and reconciliations including current account, debit card
Pastel Payroll, leave capturing and salary run
Liaise with forex dealers and Banks for various services
Make online creditors payments locally and internationally and payroll payments
Complete and Submit monthly EMP returns
Assist with completion and submission of VAT returns
Keep CIPC documents and Directors information, supplier and lease agreements, share certificates, VAT and EMP returns and Annual Financial Reports

Candidate Minimum Requirements:
Pastel Payroll and Pastel Accounting
3 Years experience in a similar role
Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced)
A National Diploma/Certificate in Payroll and Bookkeeping (Advantageous)
Relevant knowledge of statutory requirements relating to payroll (LRA, BCEA, EE Act, UIF, SDL, OHS Act, TAX (PAYE), POPI Act)
Demonstrate credibility, trust and diplomacy.
