Hotel Switchboard Operator

Full Time

Candidate Responsibilities will include:
Answering switchboard in a professional manner
Receiving and welcoming clients/visitors
Arranging refreshments for clients/visitors
Flight, accommodation, car rental and travel related bookings
Co-ordinating and booking meetings and meeting rooms
Ordering stationary
Processing of purchase orders
Ad hoc admin functions
Keep the reception area neat and tidy

Candidate Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Previous experience managing a busy Reception Desk and a large Switchboard
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to handle pressure
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Team player
