Candidate Responsibilities will include:
Annual Budgeting. Monthly and variance reporting.
Propose corrective action on cost management.
Stock: ordering, receiving, unpacking, capturing, issuing, controlling and dispatching.
Managing of stock levels Processing and submission of invoices Follow-up on outstanding invoices and orders (including capital orders)
Liaison with Suppliers and Head Office Cash handling and controls Sorting and allocating source documents for sending to Head Office
Coding and payments of invoices of creditors
Daily banking and controls
Capturing of data Filing Processing of pre-paid transactions
Provisions of creditors and outstanding orders
Ordering and payment of staff uniforms
Physically picking up and moving of stock items Ad-hoc tasks required by supervisor
Candidate Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) Accounting as a matric subject and further financial studies will serve as a recommendation
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and typing skills is essential
Previous experience working with financial systems will be an advantage
