Candidate Responsibilities will include:

  • Set up dining area for service;
  • Greet and escort patrons to their tables upon arrival;
  • Present menus and be prepared to answer any questions on menu items (portion size, ingredients, etc.);
  • Accurately take down meal and beverage orders and communicate these to the kitchen or bar;
  • Serve food and beverage orders;
  • Check dishes and cutlery for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems;
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy and orderly dining area;
  • Take dirty plates, glasses, cutlery, etc to the scullery to be cleaned;
  • Ensure that all relevant health and safety regulations are followed;

Provide excellent customer service.


  • Proven waitering experience;
  • Hands-on POS experience;
  • Basic math skills;
  • Attentiveness to and patience with patrons;
  • Strong multi-tasking skills;
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good listening skills;
  • Good communication skills (English);
